FACETS, a non-profit film organization located in Chicago, seeks an innovative, collaborative and strategic leader to serve as Managing Director. FACETS, named in Newcity's 2023 "Best of Chicago" is a 48-year old organization which has pioneered growth in the independent film sector through regular screenings of new independent films, retrospectives and unique film events. FACETS presents the Oscar-qualifying Annual Chicago International Children's Film Festival, now in its 40th year. With the mission to foster vital conversations for adults and youth through film experiences, FACETS is preparing to launch the newly formed Chicago Alliance of Film Festivals in an effort to help grow Chicago's robust film sector.
Reporting to the Executive Director, the Managing Director will be responsible for the overall business and administrative management of the company. This includes leadership of Finance, HR, Information/Tech systems, Building and Capital projects. Significant expertise needed in Database Systems and Financial Management. Compensation package includes salary of $65,000-$75,000, health benefits and PTO. This is a full-time, mostly in person, year-round position. Full job description can be found HERE.
