    JOB OVERVIEW
    The NYFF Publicity Services Coordinator will manage press accreditation for the 60th New York Film Festival and support the publicity team with press screenings and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.


    PRINCIPAL DUTIES
    Oversee the NYFF press accreditation process, including
    - Managing the Press and Publicity Database 
    - Vet applications for NYFF accreditation using FLC best practices under the supervision of the NYFF Publicists
    - Coordinate the physical credentialing process with the production department.
    - Following up with applicants for missing information
    - Manage the Press & Publicity Inbox
    - Manage mass communications to accredited press related to the accreditation process, press screenings, and the festival in general.
    - Update the approved press list throughout the festival.
    - Create the press screening schedule; 
    - Train, schedule, and manage press volunteers during all press office hours (M-F beginning one hour before each morning screening through the start of the last afternoon/evening screening). 
    - Distribute press screening attendees lists internally and to distributors. 
    - Manage press ticket requests and distribution in communication with the FLC publicity team and individual film PR representatives. 
    - Distribute press screening schedules and updates to the accredited press list.
    - Assist the publicity team with additional administrative tasks as needed.

    EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIRED
    -1-2 years experience in publicity or film festival environment
    - Knowledge of film and the New York Film Festival
    - Attention to detail and ability to work independently but with open communication
    - Ability to handle high-stress situations with grace and patience
    - Comfortable with database systems and spreadsheets; Tessitura and Eventival experience a plus
