Cinema/Chicago, the presenting organization of the Chicago International Film Festival, is seeking an experienced Development Manager to join their team!
The Development Manager is responsible for leading the organization's development strategy to build a diverse, sustainable revenue base. This role oversees the successful creation and implementation of Cinema/Chicago's revenue-generating activities, including Major and Individual Giving and Institutional Grants from foundation, government, and corporate sources.
The Development Manager oversees all aspects of Cinema/Chicago's philanthropic efforts, including prospect research and identification, donor cultivation and solicitation, CRM management, and close collaboration with the leadership team on the annual gala and other fundraising events. The Development Manager works closely with Cinema/Chicago staff and Board members and manages seasonal, contract, and part-time development support as needed.
