Hello!
I've just returned home to North Carolina after serving as the Volunteer Manager for DC/DOX. In the fall, I will return to DOC NYC as their Crew Manager (for my third year).
When you think about your festival's volunteer program, what comes to mind? Is it an afterthought and something managed by someone who doesn't want to be doing it on top of all their other festival responsibiliteis? If the answer is yes, then you'd better believe that it shows.
Do you want help building real community and watching the positive ripple effects that happen when you bring together a variety of talented people to make the festival succeed? Yeah, I thought so. Let's start a conversation and see where it goes. If you're a person who treats others with dignity and respect, that's the foundation we'll start with.
